Update from: 03/29/05
It's a good thing I made this new website easy to update, so I can just let it sit here for a month... As you can (or maybe you can't) imagine, things are just plain busy around here!!! The twins are going to be 7 weeks old tomorrow and Elizabeth will be two on Friday!
I know it over-simplifies things to say that "time flies" but seriously, Elizabeth was just a tiny little gurgling baby not that long ago, now she marches all over the house expressing her opinions about everything she sees, finds, hears or thinks about. To say she babbles would be a good summary, but it's in words we understand and can talk to her about. Watching a child's vocabulary grow every day is amazing; it's what makes being a parent a wonderful experience.
The twins are getting situated with their own personalities and mannerisms. We've been working through their feeding routine and trying to make them happier overall; a little upset tummy with an infant and you have an unhappy household! Overall they are really good kids, they're looking around and watching things when they aren't doing the usual baby grunts and groans that goes along with growing at a fast pace.
In sadder news, my testosterone took a hit with the purchase of our mini-van. It's tan, it has three car-seats in it, it's very suburban and screams "Soccer Mom". Honestly, it's really nice, it has all kinds of automatic doors and gizmos, Elizabeth thinks its fun and there is room for all of our stuff, so keeping all that in mind, it solves all of our logistics problems.
Teresa's parents took one for the team in offering to baby-sit all of the kids last Friday and let Teresa and I get some time to ourselves which was basically spent sleeping; 10 hours of uninterrupted happiness. They along with our neighbors who have systematically provided us meals for the last month and all of our family and friends have been wonderfully supportive in helping us establish our new family of five. We couldn't have made this far, this sane, without all of you!
Regarding new pics, there are updates to February and March so be sure to look through all of them! Many thanks to my friend Robbie for coming to our house for the photo shoot!
