Update from: 04/04/04
Can you believe a whole year has gone by already! That's right, I just had my one year birthday! Hard to believe a year ago my Mom & Dad didn't know what it meant to be parents, now they have the whole thing figured out; at least I have them trained pretty good!
Now days, I know how to crawl on / over / under / around just about anything. This meant that my Dad had to build a gate for the bottom of the stairs because I love to climb up, it's good exercise for everybody! I can stand up and reach lots of things now too; if I stand on my tippy-toes, I can even reach things on the kitchen table!
Now that I'm one, I get to ride like everybody else in the car: facing forwards! This is fun for everyone as I can see where we are going and Mom & Dad don't have to bend in funny direction to see me in back!
Hmm, more fun changes: I've started switching to big people food for my meals, no more of this baby stuff, I'm a big girl now! I get to try lots of things at home and daycare, everyone knows how to take good care of me and that's what's most important! I also have 8 teeth in front now and a molar in back; I use them all to chomp really good on my food so I stay strong and healthy!
Right after my birthday Mom & Dad left for a vacation on their own and left me to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Hirschman! They were really good to me and in no time I had them trained in, just like my Mom & Dad! I did OK, but having my Mom & Dad back is certainly the best!
Easter this year was much more memorable! I got to play with my relatives that were in town and open little presents from the Easter Bunny! I like all these holidays and stuff, it's fun to play and see what all I can get into!
